Imamura, Nobutaka was born on April 13, 1943 in Hiroshima, Japan. Son of Tamotsu and Kiyono (Kimura) Imamura.

Intern, resident Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1973—1976. Assistant professor Research Institute Nuclear Medicine and Biology, Hiroshima, 1984—2002. Director, head hematology/oncology Imamura Memorial Clinic Chiyoda-cho, since 2002.

Guest professor R. E. Kavetsky Institute Experimental Oncology, National Academy of Sciences Ukraine, since 1997, hematology department, Kiev Hospital, since 1998, National Academy Medical Sciences Urkraine, since 1998. Associate editor Experimental Oncology, since 2000. Reviewer journal papers.
