Nobuyasu Kawada appointed agricultural and foresty engineer of Kyoto Prefecture (1920). He became secretary of Gunze Seishi Kaisha (Gunze Silk Manufacturing Company). Served also as director of Nihon Sericultural Chemistry Research Institute, engineer of Kyoto-fu Sangyo Shiken-jo (Kyoto Prefectural Industrial Experimental Station) and teacher of Fujotan Sangyo Gakko (Fujotan Industrial School). He holds additional post of director of Nihon Sangu Kenkyu-kai (Japan Sericultural Equipment Research Society).
