Career

Ordained to ministry Southern Baptist Church, 1910. Pastor successively First Church, Barnesville, Georgia, Portsmouth, Virginia, Savannah, Georgia, and Meridian, Mississippi, until 1931. Pastor First Church, Mobile, 1931-1932, Fifth Avenue Church, Huntington, West Virginia, 1932-1939.

Again in Meridian, Mississippi, from June 1939. Received 6093 accessions to chs. in 23 years.
