Olympiada Vladimirovna spent her childhood and youth in Alexandrovek in the Ekaterinoslav province (now Zaporizhia, Zaporizhia Oblast, Ukraine), where she graduated from high school in 1909. The early poetry of Olympiada Vladimirovna was highly appreciated by the Symbolists, the later by I. Bunin and Professor I. N. Rozanov. For the first time, she performed poetry in the student magazine Luch (Simferopol, 1906).
In the 1960s, Olympiada Vladimirovna returned to literature, composer A. Pakhmutova wrote several songs on verses by Olympiada Vladimirovna. After 1917, she worked actively in contemporary poetry.
