Career
He competed in the light middleweight division. Known as "Shotgun", Albarado turned pro in 1967 and captured the World, WBC, and WBA light middleweight title when he upset Koichi Wajima by KO in 1974. He retired after the loss.
Albarado launched an unsuccessful comeback 5 years later, retiring in 1982 after several losses.
