He studied for two years at Freiburg University in Germany from 1927.
Career
After becoming professor at Nagoya University in 1939, he toured China and Manchuria in 1941 and served as director of Aichi-Ken Noson Igaku Kenkyujo (Aichi PrefectCiral Research Institute of Medicine for Farming Villages) and medical inspector of the same prefecture. Appointed thrustee of Nagoya University in 1948. He held additional post of chairman of Chiibu Nippon Shodokai (Central Japan Calligraphical Society).
