He graduated from Economics Department of Chuo University (1939).
He was manager of Zeimu Keiri Kyokai (Tax Accounting Association) (since 1948). The same year was part-time employee of Tax Office and Zaimukyoku (Regional Financial Bureau). Transferred to Mining Department of Asahi Company (1942). Resigned (1943).
Later entered Nihon Shimbun-kai (Japan Newspaper Society) and became vice-chief of its Management Bureau. When the society was reorganized into Nihon Shimbun Kyokai (Japan Newspaper Association) was elevated to the status of vice-chief of its Business Department (1917). Upon resignation from Japan Newspaper Association was appointed to his present post (1948). Appointed director of Soya Printing Company (1949) and auditor of Toyo Kensetsu Kaisha (Toyo Construction Company) (1950). Assumed additional post of part-time employee of Japan Newspaper Association (1952).
