Education

He graduated from Kyushu University with a degree in French literature (1933).

Career

He was appointed instructor at Fukuoka Higher School (1934) to become professor (1937). Was briefly on the editorial staff of Nihon Shimbun, till he was appointed professor at Fukuoka Commercial College (1950).
