Ordained priest R.C. Church, 1906. Teacher of philosophy, theology and canon law, Servite Seminary, Chicago, 1906-1911, Servite Seminary, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 1911-1923, also gave missions and conducted retreats. Founder, and editor Messenger of Our Lady of Sorrows, 1912-1920.

Provincial Superior of Servite Order in the United States, 1923-1929, reelected, 1933-1936, reelected for fourth term, 1936-1939. Formerly regent of studies in Servite instns. in the United States. Founded Servite Institutions in Detroit, Michigan, St. Louis, Missouri, Belen, New Mexico, Hillside, Illinois, Sanctuary of Our Sorrowful Mother, Portland, Oregon.
