Studied with Max Bozzoni. Attended, Paris Opera School.
Career
Member Paris Opera Ballet, since 1974. Promoted through corps, principal dancer (etoile), since 1980. Director, since 1990.
Appeared in Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, La Bayadere, Le Corsaire pas de deux, Etudes, Balanchine's Rubies, Petit's The Phantom of the Opera and Queen of Spades, Song of the Earth, Daphnis and Chloe, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Bolero, Firebird, Schema, La Sonatine Beaurocratic, Vaslav (created for him by John Neumeier), Alvin Ailey's Precipice. Appeared as guest artist with numerous international dance companies. Appeared at Metropolitan Opera's Centennial Celebration, 1984.
