Paul Bernard Dilworth was an influential Canadian aeronautical engineer and the founder of Dilworth Secord and Meagher Associates Limited.
Career
He became the chief engineer in the Gas Turbine Division of Orenda Engines when Turbo Research Limited. was sold. He worked on the engine design of the Avro CF-100 (predecessor to the Avro Arrow) for Orenda. In 1952, he created Paul Dilworth & Company (later retitled Dilworth Secord and Meagher Associates Limited), an engineering consulting firm of international scale.

Membership
As an employee of the National Research Council (National Research Council) in Ottawa, Dilworth was an executive member of the team involved in Canada"s first jet engine tests in 1943, serving as manager of the cold-weather test station Turbo Research Limited. from September 1944 until May 1946.
