He is author of several books and a former professor of urban studies at Temple University. He consults and speaks on community economic development. He walked across the United States, entirely on foot, in 1978.
Glover was invited by the Green Party of the United States to participate in its presidential primaries in 2004.
Glover was the Green Party of Pennsylvania"s candidate for governor in 2014.
