Levy began his career as a reporter at the "Mercury" in 1959. Four years later he took a position of a political reporter at "Philadelphia Bulletin". Also Paul served as a city editor and assistant managing editor of Daily News from 1971 to 1974. In 1974, he became a visiting professor at the University of Wisconsin. A year later Paul was appointed an assistant editor, managing editor and then a senior editor of National Enquirer. Since 1989 he has been an editor in chief of "Globe".
On September 18, 1960 Paul Levy married Marlene Gorsky. They have two children.
