In the early 1960s, he lived in the city of Gubkin, Belgorod region (a proofreader at the editorial office of the city newspaper, a record-keeper on the thermal electric сentral unit). He published since 1960. In 1962 he entered the Gorky Literary Institute which he did not graduate from. In 1963-1966 he worked as a journalist at shock-work construction site in Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo region. In 1966-1972 he lived in Voronezh, Semiluki then moved to Moscow region (Pushkino, Mytishchi).
He was published in the magazines "Rise", "Youth", "New world", "Moscow", "Siberian lights", "Volga" and others, in the "Literary newspaper". He is an author of poetry collections: "My eyes" (Moscow, 1966), "Echo" (Voronezh, 1967), "Kanuny" (Moscow, 1978), "Diary of the soul" (Moscow, 1982), "Striving towards everything..." (St. Petersburg, 2006).
