Student Massachusetts State College, 1911-1912. Bachelor of Science, United States Military Academy, 1916. Graduated from Army War College, 1937.

Career

Commissioned Second lieutenant, United States Army, 1916, advanced through the grades to brigadier general, 1942. Assigned to 96th Infantry Division, 1942. Left the 96th Division, 1944, was assigned to Headquarters III Army Corps.

Formerly at Camp Polk, Louisiana under same assignment. Commanded Task Force Frigid, Alaska. Retired 1949.
