Pavel Yakovlevich Golovachev was a fighter pilot, flight commander, deputy commander of a squadron of the 9th Guards Fighter, Guards lieutenant, captain, ace with 18 confirmed kills during the Great Patriotic War, twice Hero of the Soviet Union and recipient of several other awards.
Achievements
During the time of the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War, he committed 457 flights and during 125 air fights hit 31 enemy aircrafts.
