He graduated from the Borisoglebsk Pilots Military Aviation School in 1938.
Since 1937 he was in the Red Army. Member of the Great Patriotic War. Deputy Squadron Commander of the 269th Fighter Aviation Regiment (5th Air Army, North Caucasus Front), 66th Fighter Aviation Regiment (4th Air Army, 2nd Belorussian Front). By July 1944, Kamozin had made 213 combat sorties, in 79 air battles he personally shot down 35 enemy aircraft and 13 aircraft in the group operation. Since 1946, the captain of the reserve, he worked in civil aviation.
