MUIR, Pearson M'Adam was born on January 26, 1846 in Kirkmabreck Manse. Youngest son of Reverend John Muir, Miuister of Kirkmabreck.

Education

Kirkmabreck; Glasgow High School and University.

Career

Ordained and became Minister of Catrine, Ayrshire, in 1870. Ministei of Polmont, Stirlingshire, in 1872. Minister of Morningside, Edinburgh, in 1880.

Secretary of Church Service Society, 1888-1907, and now Convener of Editorial Committee. Convener of Colonial Committee, 1892-1897. Lecturer on Pastoral Theology in Universities of Edinburgh and St. Andrews, 1895-1896,1903-1904,1905-1906.

And in Universities of Aberdeen and Glasgow, 1896-1897, 1902-1903, 1904-1905. Moderator of the General Assembly of Church of Scotland, 1910-1911. D. D.; Minister of Glasgow Cathedral since 1896; Acting Chaplain 8th Scottish Rifles.
