Polish communist. Moved to Soviet-occupied L’vov, 1939. Became a Soviet citizen. During World War II, worked in the political administration of the Soviet armed forces.
After the war, participated in disarmament propaganda campaigns. Her books were introduced into the school curriculum as compulsory reading. During the late 1950s-60s, completely forgotten.
