Organized American, European and other foreign distribution branches and newsreel for same, 1914-1921, vice-president and general manager of the corporation and studios, Hollywood, California, resigned 1935. Produced “In Old Arizona,” the first feature picture with sound on films. Actively identified with development of sound recording on films.
Also produced “What Price Glory,” “Seventh Heaven,” “Four Sons,” “State Fair,” “Cavalcade,” “Captain Eddie,” 1944, and about 130 talking and musical motion pictures.
