Gave Philadelphia Union League medals to Bright and Cobden in Manchester, 1863. Professor in Philadelphia School of Design for Women, 1865-1866. Exhibited in Paris Salon, 1879, 80, and later years painted “Washington at Fort Duquesne,” Union League, Philadelphia, 1881.
The Recall of Columbus, bought by Congress for the Capitol, 1883, and engraved on 50-cent World’s Fair stamp, 1893.
