Judith Golden received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1973 and her Master of Fine Arts from the University of California at Davis in 1975.
Judith Golden is instructing at both California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland and University of California at Davis. Her prior teaching experience was as lecturer in art at University of California at Los Angeles from 1975 to 1979.
Judith Golden was also featured in a sound filmstrip by Harcourt Brace Jovanovich in 1979, entitled "Photographers: Contemporary Artists at Work."
From 1975 to 1979 she did a series of self-portraits that were black-and-white toned photographs combined with collage and hand-colored.
Since 1975 Judith Golden has been a member of SPE, and from 1976 to 1979 she was a member of the Los Angeles Center for Photographic Studies, serving as trustee from 1977 to 1979.
She is also a member of Friends of Photography, Los Angeles Institute of Contemporary Art, CAA, Association of Academic Women and Women's Caucus for the Arts.
