Zoran Petrović was born on 5 March 1954 in Kragujevac (former Yugoslavia) Serbia.

He published a couple of poetry books, children books, novels, and two books as a publicist. He was the managing director of the oldest theater in Serbia Joakim Vuić. Now he is working as an editor for the publishing sector of the museum 21 October and as the chief editor for culture in local weekly newspaper Svetlost.
He is a columnist of Serbian newspaper Blic.
Later on, he started writing revives for Svetlsot publishing department, Radio Kragujevac, Koraci magazine. In two occasions he writes for The Great lesson(Svakodnevna molitva, 1995) book of poems, and the screenplay(selection of former poems).
He also wrote for the Serbian progressive rock band Smak and lyrics for children songs. Convinced, that only an author that dabbled in various genres of literature could be a complete writer, he went on doing some Opinion journalism.
He participated in his high school newspaper and was the creator of student newspaper whilst studying law.
