He had a brother, Steve Broidy, who later the head of Allied Artists Productions. Broidy produced many films throughout the 1950s, including Northwest Territory, Bullwhip, Arson for Hire, et cetera On television, he was the producer of The Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok from 1951 to 1958.
Broidy died on July 14, 1959 in Los Angeles, California.
