Career
He started his career at the second team of the Vaslui, FCM Huși, but in October 2005, he was selected by Mircea Rednic to play in the first team His first match was against Pandurii Târgu-Jiu, and he was seen then as a great star. In his first season he failed scoring a goal.
In the next season, he started playing more, and at the final season, he played 24 games.
His first goal was a goal against Rapid București. The next one, was against Progresul București.
At the beginning of the new season, he was linked by Steaua București, but Adrian Porumboiu rejected the 1 million offer, saying that in a few years, he will worth 4 times more. He started in the first 11 in the new season, but because of his injures, he failed to play more than 10 games.
His only goal in this season was in a draw, against UTA Arad.
Because of his lack of matches, he was loaned in the winter 2010, at Concordia Chiajna for free. In 2011 he was loaned to CSMS Iași and Petrolul Ploiești. He helped Petrolul to promote to Liga I. In the summer of 2011 he returned to Football Club Vaslui.
In the 11/12 season he helped Football Club Vaslui to qualify for the first time ever in the Europa League group stages.
In the same season he scored two goals in Liga I.
