Career
He was drafted in the eighth round, 161st overall, by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1985 National Hockey League Entry Draft. He played one game in the National Hockey League with the Sabres during the 1988-1989 season. Kaese played several seasons in the British Hockey League, including 1993-1994 when he scored 119 goals and 106 assists (225 points) in just 53 games.
The astounding point total was only third-best on his team, the Milton Keynes Kings, and only ninth-best in the league.
