Although she holds a German passport, she continues to hold most Kenyan records in the freestyle, backstroke and butterfly sprints. Her main events are: 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 50m backstroke and 50m butterfly. She is coached by Mark Rose at City of Manchester aquatics swim team (COMAST) where she has been living for 3 years.
Her previous coach was Rohan Taylor of Nunawading Swimming Club in Melbourne, Australia where she completed high school.
Before that she had lived in Kenya.
