Career
A Surfers Paradise junior, McLuckie came to the Bears in the 1990 American Federation of Labor-Congress Draft, as a zone selection. He had a memorable American Federation of Labor-Congress debut against Collingwood at Victoria Park, where he was his side"s leading goal-kicker and disposal getter with four goals and 25 disposals. He ended up averaging 19 disposals from 13 appearances that year and was also a wingman in the Brisbane reserves premiership team
McLuckie only played a further seven games in 1993 and wouldn"t be part of the Brisbane side going forward.
McLuckie in 2015 took on the role of being the Varsity College Executive Principal and has made substantial changes to how the school operates and the look of the school.
