Career
After a trial-period, Suk was offered a one-year contract with Dutch Eredivisie side AFC, which he signed on 1 January 2010. He became the first South Korean player to play for and the eighth to play in the Eredivisie. Despite good performances in pre-season matches, he didn"t get an opportunity to play in any official first team match during 2010-2011 season.
His contract at was therefore not renewed.
He was thankful, however, for the years at, and his gratitude resulted in a tattoo of the club logo and the coat of arms of Amsterdam on his right arm. On 27 June 2011, Suk signed a two-year contract with Football Club Groningen, Groningen also has an option for another two years.
On 11 July 2013, Suk signed with First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Ahli. On 30 June 2014, Suk signed a four-year contract with Communicative Disorders Nacional.
On 12 January 2015, Hyun-June was signed by another Portuguese side Vitória de Setúbal.
On 2 January 2016 Hyun-June scored an unstoppable free-kick only four minutes into a match against Braga. On 15 January 2016, Suk moved to Football Club Porto. His international career took off when he called up for the Korean Republic U-17 team in 2006.
He also took part in the 2010 AFC U-19 Championship qualification.
Suk made his senior national team debut on 7 September 2010 against Iran.
