Career
He has competed in four Chess Olympiads (2008, 2010, 2012, 2014). He competed in the Chess World Cup 2007 as one of the five FIDE President"s nominees and was knocked out in the first round by Krishnan Sasikiran. He came second on tiebreaks in the World Junior Chess Championship 2009 to Maxime Vachier-Lagrave.
Sharing fifth place in the 2011 European Individual Chess Championship earned him a place in the World Cup held that year.
He lost in the first round to Anton Filippov. At the Chess World Cup 2015 he reached the second round by defeating Ivan Bukavshin in round one and was eliminated by Veselin Topalov.
