Career
Sagna began his career with ASC Yeggo and joined in January 2009 to Ligue 1 side AS Saint-Étienne"s reserve team On 31 May 2010 the Senegalese midfielder signed his professional contract with AS Saint Etienne until 30 June 2011. Sidy Sagna played for Saint Etienne reserves during season 2011-2012 and 2012-2013, until signing a professional contract at Norwegian club Sogndal, in January 2013.
He was released after the 2013 season.
