Career
Barlock spent most of his teenage years playing for the Chicago Young Americans. In 2005, he was picked up by the Springfield Junior Blues. Later that season, in 2006, he developed further through a move to the Capital District Selects where he played through the 2007 season.
In the fall of 2008, he was recruited by Curry College and continued to play hockey at the Division III level
During his senior year, Barlock put up stellar numbers for the Curry College Colonels hockey squad, and was named as Division II/Division III First Team All-American defenseman. After his senior year, he signed with Central Hockey League’s Fort Worth Brahmas.
Mid-way through the season Barlock was traded to the Tulsa Oilers. On August 7, 2014, Barlock embarked on his European career, in signing a one-year contract with French Ligue Magnus club, Drakkars de Caen.
In 2015, he signed to play for the Bruleurs de Loups de Grenoble.
