Serhant attended Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School & Camp while spending summers with family in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Later, Serhant attended Hamilton College where he double majored in English Literature and Theatre.
Serhant has been one of three real estate agents featured on Bravo"s Million Dollar Listing New York since its first season in 2012. After graduation he moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting. In 2007, Serhant landed the role of Evan Walsh on the soap opera As the World Turns.

Serhant also created, produces and stars in the real estate web series, Realty Byte with Ryan Serhant, accessible online on Spin Media’s Celebuzz platform. Serhant co-starred with Ben Stiller, Naomi Watts, Adam Driver, and Amanda Seyfried in Noah Baumbach’s feature film While We"re Young (2014).
