Career
Sabah Jeayer was a talented forward, who is great in the air and also a goalscorer capable of rising to the big match occasion, with two goals at the 2000 Asian Cup. He started his career with the Talaba South Carolina youth team in 1986, before moving to Air Force club First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Quwa First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Jawiya in 1991 and then moving back to First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Talaba in 1993. He was given his first call-up to the national team in 1992.
He was recalled by Milan Zivadinovic, who called him his secret weapon, Sabah has become one of Iraq’s star players.
