Career
He was the second of nine children born to Pasquale Errico and Marie Marseglia. His father managed a small pasta factory and his mother worked at the loom weaving plush. Errico died on 29 October 1860 at the age of 69.
He was beatified on 14 April 2002 after Pope John Paul II attributed a miracle to him and he was canonized on 12 October 2008 after Pope Benedict XVI recognized a second miracle attributed to him.
