Her best Women's Tennis Association ranking is northern 187 on 28 July 2008 and her best double ranking northern 199 on 28 April 2008
She has continuously improved her ranking up to northern
187 in 2008 when she reached the third round of qualifying for the French Open and also played qualifications at Wimbledon and the United States Open the same year.
In 2006 she was acknowledged as "one of the most successful players" on the European Circuit by Tennis Europe, the sanctioning body of European women"s tournament of the International Tennis Federation Women"s Circuit. At the end of 2012 she ended her career as a professional tennis player and is now working as coach at the Swiss Tennis Academy in Biel, Switzerland
Martinović is the daughter of Ivo and Mara Martinović and moved from Bosnia Herzegovina to Austria at the age of 12, where she practised in Hermagor, Austria.
Martinović is interested in all aspects of psychology, reading, and kite surfing. Her favourite authors are Frank Schätzing, David Baldacci, and Gaby Hauptmann.
At the end of 2012 she ended her career and is now working as coach at the Swiss Tennis Academy in Biel, Switzerland
