Career
From there he moved to Llanbadarn Fawr on the outskirts of Aberystwyth, and then in 1939 he moved to Caersalem Chapel, Ty Croes, on the outskirts of Ammanford, where he ministered for 36 years. Ellis wrote for the Welsh religious press between 1930 and his death in 1966. Among his books were:
Living Echoes (1957).

Lleisiau Ddoe a Heddiw (1963). Wrth Gofio"r Daith (1963), which is largely autobiographical.
