Career
Hailing from Vizag, Ravi Prakash made his debut with the 2000 Telugu film Subhavela after director Teja offered him a role in the film, but the film had a low key release and went unnoticed. Ravi Prakash subsequently quit the industry and then chose to take up his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree and qualified as a doctor. He returned in 2004 portraying American College of Physicians Rajesh in Gautham Menon"s Gharshana and has since been playing supporting roles in high budget films, becoming significantly busier since 2011.
He played the villain in the Tamil film Maatraan (2012).
