Munds was a left-handed batsman who bowled right-arm slow, and who also occasionally fielded as a wicket-keeper. Munds made his first-class debut for Kent against the Marylebone Cricket Club at Lord"s in 1902. He made six further first-class appearances for the county, the last of which came against Cambridge University in 1908.
In his seven first-class matches, he scored a total of 121 runs at an average of 12.10, with a high score of 29.
He later stood as an umpire in three first-class fixtures: twice in 1920 and once in 1931. He died at Folkstone, Kent, on 29 July 1962.
