(Presents an alternative view about Comfort Women to the p...)
Presents an alternative view about Comfort Women to the prevailing one in the United States, but is well established among intellectuals in Japan. This is a story of miscinception which took place with evil intention of a few persons but spread widely in the world as a wild fire. One promoter was Asahi Newspaper, hither-to highly respected national newspaper of Japan, but which confessed its mistakes in the summer of 2014. This was significant momentum in changing the view on Comfort Women of many in Japan. This book is dedicated to revising the knowledge on Comfort Women of English-speaking people in light of new developments.

(The author examines the historical background of U.S.-Jap...)
The author examines the historical background of U.S.-Japan relations from the visit of Commodore Matthew Perry in 1853 to the present day. Utilized a wealth of Japanese as well as American materials, he presents a view of the history of the two countries. He finds that Japan was not very skillful in utilizing code-breaking or information-warfare, but tried to liberate colonies in Asia and Africa, and indeed her effort was successful and ultimately resulted in the loss of Western Colonies including India, Indonesia, Burma, and Malaysia. After reviewing nearly two hundred years of history, the author urges contemporary Japanese to be free from the self-incriminating view of history and to be confident that the nation is on a right track.

(Battlefields are muddy, sweaty and bloody. So-called comf...)
Battlefields are muddy, sweaty and bloody. So-called comfort women were there during WWII. They were "flowers" blooming at the battlefields, bringing comfort and peace to soldiers. More than 45 years since the end of the war Korean self-proclaimed comfort women have come forward, not as “Flowers” but as abused victims of the Japanese Military. Their stories spread one-sidedly and worldwide. The issue is still argued in the U.N., USA, etc. Hostile American and Japanese military men met the comfort women and left their witnesses. This book contains the 20 Japanese statements and two official reports of the U.S. Army. It’s very late to publicize the voices of the men’s side and the third party, but even now the book surely contributes to understanding the women/disputes and bringing solutions to the long-standing issue.
