Michael Robinson, Métis-Canadian, was born in Toronto, Ontario, in 1948 and died July 28, 2010.
Trained at Sheridan College’s School of Design (Glass Major, 1969-1971), Robinson was an artist, glassblower, printmaker, and writer Robinson’s work resides in the permanent collections of a number of prominent institutions, such as the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the Royal Ontario Museum, the McMichael Gallery, the Thunder Bay Art Gallery, the Glenbow Art Institute in Calgary.
