Mickey Hughes, is an English amateur welterweight and professional welter/light middleweight boxer of the 1980s and "90s who as an amateur won the 1984 Amateur Boxing Association of England welterweight title, against Robert Thomas, boxing out of Street Pancras American Broadcasting Company, and represented Great Britain at welterweight in Boxing at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, United States, defeating Paul Rasamimanana of Madagascar, and losing to Rudel Obreja of Romania, and as a professional won the British Boxing Board of Control British light middleweight, and Commonwealth light middleweight title, and was a challenger for the BBBofC Southern Area welterweight title against Trevor Smith, Commonwealth welterweight title against Donovan Boucher, BBBofC British welterweight title against Delegate Bryan, and World Boxing Association Inter-Continental light middleweight title against Shaun Cummins, his professional fighting weight varied from 146 lb, id est (that is) welterweight to 154 lb, id est (that is) light middleweight.
