Career
Creek is a former scholarship holder at the Australian Institute of Sport where he played 15 games in the South East Australian Basketball League in 2010 averaging 14.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. At only 18 years of age, Creek played for Victoria in the 2011 Under-20 Nationals. He capped off an outstanding championships by claiming the gold medal with the successful Victorian team and winning the prestigious Bob Staunton award for tournament Most Valuable Player. He was the leading scorer for Victoria as he averaged 19 points, as well as 7.6 rebounds and 3 assists per game.
During the 2010-2011 season, Creek played 20 games for the 36ers, averaging 5.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.
Creek"s solid play during his debut season and his success in the 2011 National U20 championship saw him rewarded with selection in the Australian Emus (U19) training squad for the 2011 International Basketball Federation Under-19 World Championship. In March 2011, Creek signed with the South Adelaide Panthers for the 2011 CABL season.
In December 2012, Creek finally got his chance to shine with extra court time for the 36ers following the release of import guard C. J. Massingale. He was starting to fulfil his potential when on December 15 he ruptured his Achilles tendon against the Townsville Crocodiles.
The injury sidelined him (who had been selected to participate in the 2012-2013 All-Star Slam Dunk Competition) for the rest of the 2012-2013 season.
On 24 April 2013, Creek re-signed with the Adelaide 36ers for the 2013-2014 season. He made his return in the 36ers opening game of the season, scoring 10 points in an 83-80 away loss to the Perth Wildcats at Perth Arena. Creek, who played 16:35 from the bench against the Wildcats, showed no ill-effects from his Achilles injury.
On 14 May 2014, Creek re-signed with the 36ers on a two-year deal (with the option of a third).
In his spare time, Creek runs a personal training business called Military Cross Training.
