Career
She is best known for playing the title role in the popular LGBT web series Carmilla. Acting Negovanlis began studying voice performance at the Schulich School of at McGill University in 2009. However, she decided to leave school during her third year to pursue an acting career, and four days after dropping out, she was cast in a professional musical.

In 2016, she co-starred with Elise Bauman in the feature film Almost Adults, directed by Sarah Rotella of the YouTube channel The Gay Women Channel. Carmilla In 2014, Negovanlis was cast as the title role in the Canadian web series Carmilla.
In the series, which is based on the 1871 gothic novella of the same name, Negovanlis portrays the vampire Carmilla, who appears after her roommate"s previous roommate vanishes. The series is popular online for its depiction of LGBT characters and has been viewed over 35 million times on the Vervegirl YouTube channel, which has since been renamed and rebranded as "KindaTV." In 2015, AfterEllen.com placed Negovanlis at #5 on their Hot 100 list of "the sexiest women chosen by women." Negovanlis has dated both men and women, but chooses not to label her sexuality.
However, she has said that if people wish to label her, they can use queer or pansexual.
