Currently, he is the drummer for Royale and a monthly contributor for the music publication Modern Drummer. Aside from drumming, he is also known for his development of various start-ups, brands, venues, musicians, and athletes. Soon after moving, he became friendly with celebrity nightlife operator Billy December, and would eventually become a manager at his nightclub.
Using the relationships he had created with high-profile guests, Bauman used his position to parlay a number of musical performance opportunities.
After parting ways with Billy, Nathan would go on to perform a slew of dates with various musicians, such as The Cool Kids, DJ Million $ Mano (Kanye West/Jay-Z/Travie McCoy/Master of International Affairs), DJ White Shadow (Lady Gaga"s Born This Way producer), Matthew Santos, and Midnight Conspiracy. After months of performing and serving as a nightlife consultant, Bauman accepted a position that would make him a small partner in a high end sports bar & lounge in downtown Chicago.
He would go on to meet and form relationships with many professionals and organizations in the entertainment industry, including the NFL and National Basketball Association. In October 2010, Bauman was featured in the Chicago Tribune and Metromix as one of the top three to know in Chicago, after appearing in the Tribune and Sun-Times on numerous occasions with various celebrities. In January 2011, Bauman"s venue was ranked 2nd on Chicago Tribune"s "Top Ten Celebrity Hangouts."
During an event he produced at his venue for Interscope Records recording artist, Soulja Boy, Bauman met Malik Yusef, Greater London Council, and Rockie Fresh.
The three artists would soon later collaborate at Rax Trax Studios in Chicago with Bauman and Vic Mensa for a project he wrote and executive produced.
On December 22, 2010, Bauman performed on drums with Rockie Fresh for a sold out performance at Reggie"s Rock Club in Chicago and left his current position in order to travel with the young emcee. The two would continue to perform together, embarking on 8 months of regional and national touring, with main stage festival slots at SXSW, Bamboozle, and Lollapalooza official after parties. In August 2011, Bauman and Rockie were invited by Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump, alongside Wynter Gordon and John West, for a 30 date national tour through Civil Aeronautics Administration. Bauman served as both the tour manager and drummer during he and Rockie"s tenure together.
Bauman would part ways in October 2011 with Rockie Fresh and his management to relocate to Hollywood, California, in order to join Def Jam recording artist, John West.
While serving as his percussionist, Bauman also collaborated with the West Hotel Hollywood location as Marketing & Public Relations Manager with Victor Drai"s rooftop hotspot, Drai"s Hollywood. Specializing in celebrity marketing, Bauman would implement strategies to secure and distribute content to People (magazine), Us Weekly, East! Online, Life & Style (magazine) and more.
During his time in the Hollywood scene, he would later befriend Computer Society of India star Gary Dourdan and support him as percussionist with a new project on a number of performances in Los Los Angeles Bauman also comes from the entertainment agency heavyweight WME Agent Training Program in Beverly Hills, called "The Harvard School of Show Business" by past graduate David Geffen.
Currently, Bauman serves as Nightlife Manager for Billy December"s Rockit Ranch Productions in Chicago and is in the recording process of a solo project
