Career
The 178 cm (584 ft) tall athlete plays right-handed and is coached by Çağatay Taşdemir at Egospor club of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality. Neslihan Yiğit became silver medalist in singles (WS) and doubles (World Development) at the U17 European Team Championship held 2009 in Medvode, Slovenia. At the 2011 Spanish Junior International, she reached to bronze medal in WS, gold medal in World Development and silver in mixed doubles (XD).
The latest success enabled her to rise up to the 37th place in the world ranking list as of April 19, 2012.
In the doubles event, she ranks 41st in the world list together with Özge Bayrak. Neslihan ranks 7th in the World Juniors list.
She qualified as the first ever Turkish badminton player for the Olympics. Women"s singles
