Savoie made his professional debut in the NFL in 1997 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 1-year career. Savoie finished his career with one reception for 14 yards.
He, Tommy Hodson, and Curtis "Chicken" Martin are the only players in the history of Lafourche Parish to play for their hometown high school Central Lafourche High School), Louisiana State University and the Saints.
