Career
Buyanova took up in ballet in her early age in Saint St. Petersburg. At age six, in her 8th grade. She started to practice rhythmic gymnastics.
She graduated from the Omsk Institute of Physical Culture and in 1975, she began coaching in her hometown of Irkutsk.
Buyanova was the head coach of the Italian national team in rhythmic gymnastics for six years until her departure and return to Irkutsk. She coaches at the sports school for rhythmic gymnastics in Dinamo Irkutsk.
In 2013, Buyanova also began coaching at the newly opened Baikal-Arena. Daria Dmitrieva - 2012 Olympic silver medalist
