Career
Katie Sheridan made her first television appearance in Independent Television’South Real Crime Series Cracking The Killer’s Code. She went to East Berkshire College, and appeared in a number of British Broadcasting Corporation Productions including Powers, Waking The Dead, In2minds, Casualty, Lovesoup, If…television Goes Down The Tube and Brief Encounters. She also played young Grace in the feature film Lighthouse Hill.
Sheridan gained a following for her role as Sophie Norton in the Nickelodeon comedy series Genie In The House.
The show, with a total of 78 episodes, was shown in over 100 countries and as of March 2012 was aired in the United States on the Starz Kids & Family cable network. Sheridan later appeared in several episodes of family comedy series Which is Witch? playing mean girl Kelly Price.
Katie has done a number of independent feature films including The Confusion of Tongues Hi-Lo Joe, 50 Kisses and Crushing Snails. She also stars in the 2015 advert for Oral-B toothbrush and Virgin Trains "Bound for Glory" campaign.
Sheridan recently co-wrote and co-produced new online series Match Not Foundation with British playwright Alex Oates.
A romantic comedy, Katie plays a luckless in love Kat as the series follows her eventful quest for the right manitoba Sheridan has just wrapped on Paul Hyett"s latest horror film Heretiks, set in a priory during the 17th century and filmed on location in Wales.
