Career
He is 2.06 m (6"9") tall, and his main position is power forward, but he can also play as a center if needed. Kaimakoglou began his professional career with the Greek League club Near East during the 2002-2003 season. In 2004, he moved to the Greek club Maroussi.
He was named to the Greek League Best Five Team in 2010.
He joined the Greek club Panathinaikos in July 2010. In July 2012, he signed a 2-year contract with the VTB United League club UNICS Kazan, at an amount of 2.4 million euros Netto income.
